Digestive Seed Mix

Digestive Seed Mix

By nutritional therapist Christine Bailey

This is a great seed mixture for improving digestion. Simply eat a tablespoon before or after a meal.

Ingredients:
2 pinches of sea salt
1 tbsp hot water
½ cup fennel seeds
¼ cup toasted coriander seeds
¼ cup sesame seeds
1 tbsp cumin seeds
Pinch of sugar, optional

Method:
Dissolve the salt in the hot water.

Heat a frying pan over a medium heat and add the seeds. Toast until lightly brown.

Drizzle over the salt water and stir continuously until dry and fragrant. You can sprinkle over a little sugar if wished but I prefer to leave it out.

Remove from the heat and allow to cool.

Store in an airtight container.
