Optima – Ice Guard Natural Deodorant

Optima – Ice Guard Natural Deodorant

‘Ice Guard Crystal Deodorant contains ammonium alum, a naturally occurring mineral which suppresses the growth of skin bacteria. When applied, it creates an invisible layer of protection on the surface of the skin that prevents odour-causing bacteria from forming and enables the skin to perspire naturally.’

Optima’s Ice Guard Natural Crystal Rollerball Deodorant is an all-natural deodorant, so contains no antiperspirant ingredients, perfumes or unnecessary additives (basically, no nasties!). Conventional antiperspirants are filled with potentially harmful ingredients, including aluminium, parabens and synthetic fragrances.

Conventional deodorants work by clogging and blocking pores – preventing them from sweating. Instead of preventing your underarms from perspiring, natural deodorants work by preventing the growth of bacteria – letting your arms breathe whilst preventing any odour from occurring.

Optima’s Ice Guard roll-on deodorant is made with potassium alum, a form of natural mineral salts, which prevents the growth of odour-causing bacteria. It also contains aloe vera, witch hazel and comfrey which soothe, nourish and hydrate skin. As well as not blocking pores, due to the deodorant not containing antiperspirant ingredients, it leaves no sticky or oily residue – so no pesky white marks on clothes!

The deodorant is completely fragrance free and extremely gently on the skin, so no stinging or sore skin from using after shaving underarms. It’s also easy to use, just roll on your armpits, odourless and completely colourless too. It lasts all day, leaving me feeling fresh and dry.

Overall, it’s a fantastic natural deodorant – perfect for anyone not wanting to use nasty chemicals on their skin. It’s also ideal for anyone with sensitive skin as the formula is so gentle and completely natural. It won’t irritate your skin and your underarms will stay fresh all day long!
