Mocha Mushroom Smoothie

Mocha Mushroom Smoothie

By nutritional therapist Christine Bailey

This is an amazing rejuvenation smoothie. I have included lion’s main mushroom powder which has been studied for its ability to support neuron health and growth. You can also find mixed mushroom powders which are equally delicious. You can serve this warm using hot coffee if you wish.

Serves 2

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
30g chocolate protein powder
1 tbsp raw cacao powder
½ tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp almond nut butter
1 tbsp xylitol, erythritol or stevia to taste
2 tsp lion’s mane mushroom powder or medicinal mushroom powder
150ml hot or cold organic coffee
150ml almond milk
1 tbsp coconut oil melted or MCT oil

Method:
Place all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth and creamy. Best drunk immediately.
